ABOUT

I am from Gaithersburg, MD, and I am a current student at the University of Maryland, graduating in 2024. I chose to be a General Biology major in the College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences. I am also a part of the Public Leadership Scholars community, where I am able to grow with my peers for the coming semesters.

I've always been drawn to the complexity of science. There are so many areas to explore. I am drawn towards the study of life and development. However, I find myself wanting to learn more about any course I take. Although I want to pursue a career in the STEM field, I want to receive a well-rounded education. I hope to include a range of fields in my undergraduate studying.

The Public Leadership curriculum allows me to foster my ability to learn and lead. The policies and skills taught create strategies to see everyday things in new light. The classes are geared towards public policy, however the skills can be applied anywhere.  I will use this experience in the STEM field as desire to lead a team of my own in the future.
